That was my wish approximately four years ago, on my 16th birthday.  I don’t know why, or maybe it’s just because of the camwhore in me, but I really wanted a webcam to go and take pictures of myself with.  On that birthday, two of my closest friends, Ron and Friday, granted my wish and gifted me with my very own Creative Webcam Vista.  That was one of my most memorable birthdays ever!

Right now, there are a lot of webcams for sale, and most of them come very, very cheap.  And I don’t know by what gravitational pull of the universe it is again, but I want a new webcam!  (I sold the Creative webcam several years ago, because, well, I grew tired of taking photos of myself.  Hahaha yeah, that’s possible)  I’ve been thinking of buying one for weeks (while another friend craves a pop up tv for Christmas) and have actually saved a few bucks for it.

In any case, Yuga‘s sponsoring a contest right now, and he’ll be giving away webcams to four lucky readers who answers his question and four other readers who blogs about the contest.  Yebah!  His contest came in a time when I’m thinking of buying my own webcam.  Now let’s see if I’ll win! XD

I’m a self-confessed tech addict.  Which makes it all the more appropriate to call these random cravings of mine as “technolust.”  I adore looking at the newly-released gadgets in the market that I tend to drool most of the time, wishing I could get some of those gadgets for myself (which makes it lust-ier because I know I can’t have those gadgets).

As of late, here are the “toys for the big boys” that I’ve been keeping a close eye on.  I know it’d take 5 to 10 years before I could practically own any of these (save for one), but I guess it’s good to keep my hopes up.  Nevertheless, let this be a checklist of sorts, just so I could have a “goal” and a “motivation” when I work in the future.  Hehehe. The past few days have been quite hectic, what with the many reports and requirements that are slowly creeping their way into my schedule and eating up most of my time. But during my free time I still manage to go online but sad to say I didn’t know what to write or didn’t have much energy (or should I say willingness) to blog.

In any case, Tricia brought Kimy, her two year old daughter, to CMC this morning and she was just the cutest of things! The little girl would scream and run around the lobby ordering her mom around to do things for her. Hehe. But no matter how cute babies ought to be, I still don’t think I want one. LOL.

Stumbled upon this while surfing Kuya Tonyo’s blog:

ASUS EEE PC will come in black starting December 2007.

According to my source in Hong Kong, Asustek will roll out the black, 8GB edition of the EEE PC sometime in December 2007.

My source adds that it will have a HK$4,990 price tag.

It doesn’t come cheap. HK$4,990 roughly converts to about 27-28,000 pesos. Reminds me of a Black Macbook (also called MacBlack) which costs higher than the white one. I wonder if the specs are higher for the Black EEE PC than the white one?

I saw an EEE PC in Robinson’s Galleria yesterday and it was just the cutest thing! Its screen was so small, barely larger than a PSP or a Gameboy Advance screen, and the keyboard is barely the size of my whole hand! I bet it’s hard to type in that thing. But the overall look and feel was really cute.

The display model came in white, and makes me wonder if the black one will be as cute as the white one or will be more “rugged” for more masculine appeal. Haha.

Now if I’m just as rich as George Lindemann, I’d buy both of them! Haha.
