I don’t think there’s any better way to cap my last school year in college than spending it with bestest friends doing practically anything that catches our fancy.  We don’t care if we look like fools sitting on the pavement just to be able to catch the best view of the lantern parade.  We don’t care if we appear annoying laughing boisterously at a local pizza place because we’re having too much fun.  We don’t care if we’re ruining the atmosphere down at lover’s lane by our sintunado songs and laugh-out-loud commentaries about the fireworks.

We don’t care.  When you’re with friends, the last thing you could think about is caring about what other people would say.  And thanks to these two friends who have stuck with me all throughout, I was able to weather any storm that passed by this year.  I don’t think I’d be able to survive this hell year without them.

IA and Elsie (and Mekkuky AI!  Haha), thanks for time very well spent last Wednesday.  It was my first time to lie in the track oval grass at night and stargaze (never mind that we were all suffering from sore throats and that a throbbing headache was killing me).  I think we all killed the romantic mood that night, what with all our videoke moments (Your Universe?  Disconnection Notice?  Disturbia?  And the killer of all:  Before I Let You go!  Hahaha.  Daig pa ang diet pills, nakakalokang diet!).  I also enjoyed doing live reporting about the fireworks, dahil sabi nga ni IA, just in case pag-report-in siya tungkol sa fireworks, at least handa sya. Hahaha.  I laugh my hardest when I’m with the two of you.  Thanks, thanks, my dearies.  You will forever be treasured.

Thanks for a rocking 2008.  On to a more fruitful (lovelife) year ahead!

About the pic:  taken by AI, IA’s sister, while we were stargazing and fireworks-commentating at the Track Oval.  We ahd this theory that bad luck revolves around the three of us: one is always devastated, one is just stable, one is super happy.  We were never really all happy at the same time.  This is a first.  =)
