The future is dawning upon us little by little.  First, there were the occasional bouts of senior moments.  Then, apprehensions about the life after graduation.  Then the inevitable theses, deadlines and whatnot.  And recently, something that solidifies our place in the “Senior” world:  UP-CMC’s Graduation Committee, otherwise known as VOX 2009.

Soon enough we’d be leafing through hundreds of papers, contracts, layouts and whatnot.  Then we’d plan, do the yearbook, take our photos, buy our sablays, don our barongs and sayas, and graduate.  Soon after that, we’d be on a hunt for a career or an admin job search (yes, ’cause we have very high standards.  heh).  The next thing that happens, who knows?  We’d be traveling through different paths by then.

But as long as we’re still here, let’s make this last year in College a blast, shall we?  VOX 2009 is OUR Graduation Committee, so let us all take part in all the things that need to be done before graduation.  There’s the proverbial graduation photo shoot, the yearbook, the graduation ceremony and many others.  The success of VOX is not in the hands of the Core Group, but in all of the seniors who shall make things happen.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have been entrusted the role as Editor in Chief of our batch’s yearbook.  While the task, I realize, is quite daunting, I take it with full enthusiasm to have been given such an opportunity to serve the college.  I hope you can volunteer as a staffer once we finalize our plans for the year.  Let’s make VOX happen, okay?  We can do this!  =D
