…but the reason is not even remotely close to the event for Losers staged a few days ago, albeit at the same venue.

To finally reclaim the heaps of lost time for unwinding, we hit the roads and landed into this nifty little bar in Bonifacio High Street we all know as the Mag:Net Cafe. This gig is in the long time planning, so it would be such a waste not to push through with it.

Artists who played that night were Imago and Sandwich, two of the more popularly known bands in the country today. We arrived late but thank God the show hasn’t started yet. We ordered beers (one bottle each, we need to be sober!) and some pika-pika foods to keep us satiated.

The place is quite nice, there aren’t that many people but maybe because it was a Wednesday. I’m sure that place is packed every weekends. The only downside is the service, because the waiters seem to have forgotten our little space at the side of the stage that they kept on ignoring our calls for order.

In any case, the reason I’m such a loser is because this is the first time as far as I can remember that I’ve seen a band (or bands) that close. Yeah, loser, right? Sure, I attended concerts and whatnots, but to be that intimately close to the bands, seeing their pimples and pores and pretty smiels (Aia!), I believe I haven’t done that before. It’s because of my innately horrible disgust of bars. I don’t know. I just don’t like to be that intimate with people I barely know, at a dark place at that. I guess the only time I’d be coaxed into going in a bar is if I have dozens of friends with me. Heh.

The night was filled with fun, music and laughter. I bet I lost half my eardrum by staying so close near the speakers. Sandwich was so sabog, then again that’s the first time I saw them live so I really couldn’t tell if that’s normal. (What I found abnormal is Raymund touching Myrene onstage. Or is that normal for them? Ionno) Imago, as always, was spectacular. They performed most of their famous songs, and Aia would once in a while catch me mouthing the lyrics of their songs, hehe. I love Imago.

Wuhoo. This is just the start of summer. Yeah. Must go back there sometime soon. =P

BTW, Bakit ang payat payat payat payat payat na ni Mong of Sandwich and Chicosci? Is he on drugs or something? Heh.

LOL, I kid. And yep, he’s really thin. Didn’t even recognize him had Raymund not call him. He’s the guy from the second pic in the last set of photos here.

Hello there! This is kind of off topic but I need
some advice from an established blog. Is
it very difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking
about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Appreciate it
