So yeah, since weekend wrap-ups, round-ups and syntheses are the latest fad online, I jump in the bandwagon and provide you with my own version of a weekend recap. And this being a personal blog, I intend to do this in the old-fashioned, journalese, web-log kind of way, the one we got used to when blogging was just in its nurturing stage.

To tell you honestly I missed blogging by just simply narrating what transpired in my day, so that’s why I’m doing this. I don’t know why I keep on trying to be profound in coming up with “articles” instead of just “entries” for this blog. So suffice to say, this segment will attempt to fill that void.

Let’s do this, guys!

  • Kuya Luis and I drove my close friend Ron back to the seminary where he belongs (hwekhwekhwek).

  • were supposed to break-in Kuya Luis’ new car all the way to Tagaytay, but thought it better to go to Lipa, Batangas instead. The more mileage, the better! Saw Kuya Gary’s new home (it was lovely, I tell you) and took home more than a handful of Tablea chocolates.

  • first trip to the south in oh-so-many months. Construction in the expressway looked hellish, even if it didn’t affect traffic that much.

  • first day to finally, really feel that I’m back to school. Our prof who always knew better did verbal blogging once again. Naturally, it bored us, because he was the only one interested in whatever he was saying. Har har.

  • crammed my paper for Socio. Due the next day. Let’s see what happens.

  • talked about the “s” “e” “x” word in Socio and the reason why the “magisterium” prohibits pleasurable sex. Of course I’m not gonna expound on that in here, you perv!!!

  • made peace with someone I wasn’t in good terms with for the past couple of days because of an argument. At least now there’s closure.
  • UP Centennial Celebrations finally opened! Skydivers were teh bomb, I tells you! Still, the ceremony was quite a flop.

  • Watched National Treasure instead. Teh bomb!!!

  • Did an impromptu feature article on the UP Centennial because our professor knew better to not inform us to do a UP Centennial article days before the event. Booyeah. Did a somewhat-critical essay which was eventually immortalized into this blog post.

  • Four Words: Trinoma Bloggers’ Food Tour!!! And oh, Cabalen sucks! Hehe.

  • So-so day. Bonded with IA and Elsie again. Class til 7pm.

  • Watched I Am Legend in Trinoma. Tried to use the free ticket that came with the Food Tour goodie bag but unfortunately it doesn’t apply to the THX Cinema. Darn.

  • No classes in CommRes!!! Free Day!!! FREE, FREEEE!!!

  • Cleaned the bathroom and my bedroom in my apartment. Had a knack working while singing along to Happy Working Song from Enchanted. Hehe.

  • Headbanged and danced in the apartment to the tune of Back Into You because I was alone. Booyeah.

  • Went to Mikky’s third 21st birthday party, which turned out to be quite a big surprise for me, Kuya Luis and Belette. We thought it was our party. We picked on other people instead. Hehehe.

  • Went to Greenhills for the “after-party”. Chugged down a Praline Mocha Frap and munched on an Espresso Brownie in Starbucks till around 2am. Uber Bonding with Batman and Batgirl. Arrived in Mandaluyong at around 230 am. Slept at 3am. I have data gathering at 7am. Kamusta naman yun.

  • Data gathering through hell. To think I only interviewed ten people. Worst bout of sore throat I ever encountered. Felt dizzy for having to repeat 118 survey questions 10 times to a host of diverse personalities. Took almost the entire day. The end result: bangag for such a repetitive and irritating activity, plus the uber lack of sleep.

  • Went to MoA to stroll and stuff. Came home a bit later to do my Code Red article, which was due the same night. Hehe. I’m teh bomb.

That would be all for this week. Stay tuned for next week! =)
